My son LOVED this puzzle because he is so crazy about all different types of vehicles & they are all very detailed, colorful, & keep them into wanting to finish the puzzle to the end ! I highly recommend - is well worth the money !! Also VERY durable with nice large pieces that keep them from wanting to give up on it !

My son received this puzzle as a gift for his second birthday. He was never particularly interested in puzzles before, but after a few times coaching him through it, he's become a whiz at putting this together. It's got a permanent place on my coffee table, because as soon as he puts it together, he wants to take it apart, shuffle up the pieces, and put it right back together again!
The images are nice and crisp, not too simple, with bright colors and a good design. He's learned to identify each of the different vehicles, and really enjoys playing with this. The pieces are sturdy, but the paper has ripped a bit with heavy use. Overall, a great deal for a very nice and well-used puzzle.

My two and half year old got this for Easter and LOVES it. He is a big on puzzles and this one is perfect. He is past the stage on the wooden ones so these are great for him. The pieces are big enough for him to handle and are very durable. Highly recommend. Will definitely be buying more melissa and doug puzzles.

My son got this puzzle when he was two and a half. He loves cars and he loves putting this puzzle together - but it's way too easy for him (and it was already when he got it). I understand that kids are different with different strengths and weaknesses, but this puzzle, recommended for 3+, doesn't seem challenging enough for a "typical" three year-old. It's nice though, and my son loves talking about the different vehicles in the picture.

My son lives for puzzles and while he likes the puzzle it seems to be his least favorite. He is two so he can not tell me why but I imagine it is because it is so busy. It is harder to put together because of the lack of distinguishable "things". It is sturdy and if your kids loves trucks this may be for him or her.
